"Fall Into Her” Intention Setting Yoga-Themed Mala-Making Workshop

Join us for a soul-nurturing workshop combining the spiritual practice of intention setting with the ancient art of mala making. This session will guide you through mindful yoga practices, deep meditation, and crafting your own unique mala necklace, infused with personal meaning and purpose.

What to Expect:

  1. Yoga & Meditation for Intention Setting
    Begin the workshop with a gentle yoga flow designed to open your heart and center your mind. We'll focus on breathing, mindfulness, and cultivating a space for reflection. This leads into a guided meditation, helping you clarify and set your personal intention, whether it’s peace, love, balance, or empowerment.
  2. Introduction to Mala Beads &Their Significance
    After centering yourself, learn about the sacred meaning of mala beads. Traditionally used in meditation, mala beads are powerful tools for mindfulness, symbolizing the journey toward inner peace and self-discovery.
    • History and purpose of mala beads in yoga and meditation practices.
    • The symbolism behind the108 beads and guru bead.
    • Choosing your mala beads to align with your intentions.
  3. Creating Your Personalized Mala
    With your intention in mind, you will hand-select beads based on their energetic properties. Under guided instruction, you will create your very own mala. The crafting process will involve:
    • Selecting your beads: Choose from crystals, stones, and wooden beads that resonate with your energy.
    • Stringing and knotting: Learn how to carefully knot your mala, tying an intention with each bead.
    • Personalizing: Add your own touches to the design.
  4. Closing Circle & Empowerment Meditation
    End the workshop by charging your completed mala with your intention through a closing meditation. Wear your mala as a reminder of the intention you set or use it in your meditation practice going forward.

Workshop Includes:

  • All materials for mala making (beads, string, tassel).
  • A mat for yoga practice extra if you need borrow
  • Light refreshments.
  • A take-home guide on using malas for meditation.
