SUP 101: Paddleboarding Basics

New to stand-up paddleboarding? You’re in the right place — and yes, it’s totally okay if you fall in (we actually encourage it, it means you’re trying!).

SUP 101 is your go-to beginner’s class where we keep things simple, safe, and seriously fun. We’ll cover everything you need to feel confident on the water, including:

  • A bit of history + board basics

  • Safety tips + how to fall (and get back up like a champ)

  • Paddle strokes + turning techniques

  • Stance, balance, and how to stay grounded (even while floating!)

This class is equal parts learning and laughter. Whether you're brand new or just want a refresher, you’ll leave feeling empowered, energized, and ready to explore the water with ease.

No experience needed — just bring your sense of adventure and prepare to get a little wet!
